Meet the Counselors

The cadet club at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church is blessed with volunteer counselors who seek model Christian life and manhood in Bible lessons, merit badge work, handicraft projects, and outdoor activities. This web page introduces you to these counselors and tells a little about them:

 

Kevin Deppe has been a cadet counselor for 28 years, and has served both as the club's head counselor and the secretary of the Rush Creek cadet council. Kevin is the leader of the 4th and 5th grade cadre, and employed at Amerikam, a machine shop that makes faucet parts.
Paul De Windt has been a cadet counselor for 12 years, is a counselor in the 6th through 8th grade cadre. He is employed as a database administrator at the Family Research Council. If you have any questions about the club, please email Paul at the club's address.
Brian Brunsting has been a cadet counselor for 9 years, and helps lead the 6th through 8th grade cadre. Brian is webmaster for the Rush Creek Cadet Council, and designs books for a living at Baker Publishing Group.

Todd Tamminga has been a cadet counselor for 5 years, and is a counselor for the junior cadets.

This is Ken VanDam's third year as a cadet counselor. Ken is a counselor for the 3rd grade cadre..

CJ Lauters is a Junior Counselor in the club, and is a sophomore at Jenison High School this year. CJ keeps track of the points cadets earn and helps lead the 3rd grade cadre.

Nathan De Windt is a Junior Counselor in the club, and is a sophomore at Unity Christian High School this year. Nathan attended International Camporee in summer 2008 and 2011, and helps lead the 3rd grade cadre.
